Asthma

Bladder and Bowel Website

The Department of Health website provides information and advice on the prevention and management of bladder control and bowel problems. Bowel cancer screening program

The National Bowel Cancer Screening Program (the Program) commenced on 1 July 2008 and will offer testing to people turning 50, 55 or 65 years of age between January 2008 and December 2010.Bowel cancer can be treated successfully if detected in its early stages, but currently less than 40 per cent of bowel cancers are detected early.

Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate Scheme

The Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate Scheme helps families to meet treatment costs for specialised services for cleft lip and cleft palate conditions. If you are eligible for the scheme you can claim benefits until the age of 28 years, however you must have been registered for the scheme before you turned 22 years.
